100 Days of mark-making & origami

The 100 Days project is a daily creativity project, in 2017 and 2018 I set out to make more marks! Using drawing, painting, and print-making, (not always with ink) I used the world around me and my daily life to create contextual art on a bit of 14cm square paper each day. After folding these into an origami form I would then photograph them in context. This project was a development of the year before in that I used a more difficult origami form, the lily. This obscured more of the drawing and made me think more about placement of images on the paper to appear in particular places on the lily form. I have included the unfolded images below as well as the final in context images.

As with the 2017 Cranes, some of the lilies are still available to purchase, framed or unframed. Please contact me for details.
